Ultimate Fitness Challenge and Dodgeball 

For the UFC, Gilbert, Levin, Alexis, and Jaclyn are requested to participate.

For the Dodgeball, anyone who would like to join may volunteer.

The mentioned people, and anyone else who would like to join the UFC, please bring sports attire or PE uniform tomorrow. Thanks!

Announcement for Tuesday

From Lance:

Attire for Tuesday, 31 August 2010, would be house shirt (or any shirt of your house color), jeans/jogging pants, and rubber shoes. There will be opening ceremonies at the flagpole area from 7 AM onwards. Please come to school early.

Furthermore, for those who still haven't paid for the batch shirt and/or the luncheon, the deadline of payments is also the 31st. Please pay your dues in order to avoid any hassle that might arise from doing otherwise. Again, the shirt is Php 250- a piece, while the luncheon is Php 150/head. For any questions or clarifications, just ask your batch/class officers.

Singers!!!

Costume for boys:
Any button up polo with short sleeves and collar, dark-colored (blue, green, etc.), maong pants (shade of blue), any black shoes (school shoes will do =P), and any t-shirt (inside the polo)

So, bale ang sa boys, may shirt kayo sa loob (as in ung normal t-shirt) tapos may patong ng polo shirt, tapos hindi na ibubutton yung polo, nakataas yung collar tapos i-fofold together yung shirt and polo shirt

Tingnan niyo yung picture sa link, parang ganyan, pero shorts sleeves, tapos nakataas yung collar para 70s :D (according to my mom, primary source =P)

Costume for girls:
Any 70s attire, with bright colors (orange, red, yellow, etc.), mag-research na lang kayo

Hairdo - 70s hairdo (very high pony tail, pigtails, thick headbands, etc.)

Accessories for both: Golden band sa right wrist (gawin na lang natin sa Tues, or sisimulan ko na sa Monday.. and dadagdagan pa pag may naisip/may time)

Yung instrumentalists, bahala na kayo ah.. :D pero para may something in common lahat, I suggest na mag golden band din kayo :D

Guys! Sorry kung medyo naiba from what we practiced today. Hindi ko kasi mahanap yung kopya nung ginawa namin na chords kanina(may someone na nagdala), kaya kinapa ko na lang ulit, and with some help from the internet, medyo mas tama na siya. Memorize niyo na yung chords ng buong song and yung parts niyo. Sa Tuesday, practice tayo ng mga vacant period natin, and just before ng presentation ng dikum, yung singers i-practice yung pagtanggal ng labgown with the costume underneathe, kasi baka masira yung mismong costume, or masama yung costume sa pagtanggal. :)

Note from lance

sabi niya ipost eh.

Due to unforeseeable circumstances with regards to the printing of the shirts, the Council has deemed it fit to send out the CALL FOR NEW DESIGNS for the batch shirt.  These will be due on Monday, the 26th of August 2010, immediately after the flag ceremony.

Designs MUST BE on hardcopy.  There SHOULD BE  six (6) copies, one shall be submitted to each of the batch officers (Aldiosa - Cesium, Calub - Lithium, Espina - Beryllium, Paguio - Lithium, Peralta - Cesium, Tugade - Cesium).

Furthermore, the unforeseeable circumstances has forced us to REQUIRE each class to hold a snap election for the design of the batch shirt during their respective homeroom classes.  The shirts which will be submitted to the Council on the day itself, as well as previously submitted/unrecognized designs, will be included in the voting proper.  The current design, with its modifications, shall be released on the second semester, as agreed upon by the Batch Adviser and the Council.
Reminders:

• The reply slip is due on Monday during HR class.
• The payments are due on August 31, but they will be accepted starting on Monday.
• Each student is required to purchase at least one (1) shirt.
• Everyone is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to join the Family Day.  Kung gusto niyong dalhin ang buong barangay, lahat ng naki-birthday party, nagsugal sa lamay, tumaya sa Lotto, sige lang...go!  Walang pumipigil sa inyo.

Reminders for DIKUM practice

so we're gonna have a dikum practice tomorrow, august 20.
general reminders:

• sa harap ng pisay ang meeting time 10 AM sharp. please be there promptly daw kasi mahirap maghintay. sorry sa change in sked.
• pamake sure na pupunta kayo bukas so paconfirm skin. ym me or sumthing
• bring money for delivery food tomorrow

for singers:

• bring a keyboard daw. kung sino man meron. 
• choreograph niyo na yung song para learn the dance nalang bukas
• can u print the lyrics and download the song na?
• paedit na rin yung gusto niyo arrangement para sa song para mastudy na ng instrumentalists

for instrumentalists:

• bring the stuff you're assigned to bring
• we're gonna pay you nalang the cost. ask kenji
• matagal tayo bukas so good luck nlng stin
• kay and reina, padala ng keyborad! for your tuning thingies.
• mag-isip na rin kayo ng ideas for the instruments dun
• try niyo kumuha ng score sheet para sa instruments (meaning rhythm and notes)

SocSci 3 - Topic Proposals due on Monday. Failure to submit will get a grade of ZERO in the project.

Fil 3 - Sanaysay #3 Final Draft due on Monday, for on-time passers of the first draft, and on Tuesday, for late passers of the first draft.

Chem 2 - Individual Lab Report is due on Monday (?). Follow format, handwritten on a short bond paper, no back-to-back.

Bio 2 - Print out the powerpoint on Animal Circulatory System, since there might be no projector available on Monday.
