prom attire announcements

The Council strongly suggests that all juniors should start planning for their attire for the long-awaited Junior-Senior Promenade on the 5th of February 2011 while classes have not yet resumed. In accordance with school rules and regulations, please be reminded of the following guidelines:

- For females:
1. Do not wear a dress with a plunging neckline. The neckline of the dress shall not show your cleavage.
2. Dresses with plunging backs are allowed so long as these do not reveal anything below the waistline.
3. Dresses with see-through fabrics shall be lined or worn with a camisole.
4. The slits of the skirt should not be more than three (3) inches above the knee.
5. Exposure of the torso area should be kept decent and reasonable (no more than 2 inches above or bellow the belly button).
6. Shorts and short skirts (skirts which end 3 or more inches above the knee) are prohibited.
7. Flip-flops, wooden clogs (bakya) or any other similar footwear are not allowed.

- For males:
1. Wear a decent long-sleeved polo.
- The wearing of t-shirts, collared or otherwise, is improper and is therefore highly discouraged.
- Shoulders and upper arms should not be exposed.
2.
Formal attire should be worn on the night itself (coat and tie or barong).
3. Footwear shall be closed leather shoes. Sandals, rubber shoes, or any other similar footwear are not allowed.
4. The wearing of earrings is strictly prohibited.
5. Wear slacks. Denim, hip-hop, or any other similar type of pants are not allowed.
6. Underwear shall not pick over the pants' waistline.

7. The wearing of caps or any other headgear is deemed as severely improper, and is therefore highly discouraged.

For any clarifications, you may refer to pages 31 and 32 of the PSHS Student Handbook or you may approach any 2012 Councilor. Those who will fail to comply with the above guidelines shall be denied entry to the venue. Ignorance of such guidelines shall not be excused.

Rental services of prom attire will be available. More information about the rentals as well as forms for those who wish to avail of such services will be released by the 2nd working week of January 2011.

For your information and compliance. Thank you.

Health Project Guidelines

  1. The group will be the one to decide the name, gender (pls. no bisexual and hermaphrodite), the child parents.
  2. The group should include in the scrapbook the expenses in raising a baby from the time the mother found out that she is pregnant till 6 years old. This may include the following things:
  • Pregnancy kit
  • Professional fee of the ob-gyne
  • Ultrasound
  • Supplements that the expectant mom needs
  • The expenses that during the delivery of the baby (find out the amount for both normal delivery and cesarean section.
  • The pedia consultation fee
  • Immunization
  • Diapers, vitamins, formula milk
  • Clothes, toiletries
  • Baptism
  • Birthday parties
  • Pre-school tuition fee and school supplies

  1. Here is the background of the parents:
  • They are 3rd yr students of PSHS. During their prom night they had sexual intercourse and the girl got pregnant.
  • Both of the students (parents) are receiving a monthly stipend of 2,100. (note: a student does not receive stipends during summer)
  • The parents of the students can’t help them in the expenses since their income is just enough for the immediate family. And they want to teach the student some lessons on how difficult it is to raise a child.
  • The students also don’t want to ask for help from their respective families in the expenses since they think that it is their fault and they want to prove to their respective parents that they can do it
  • They can do some part time job such as being a crew member at a fast-food restaurant and tutorials  ( so you have to know the salary for someone who do those jobs)
  • The students can’t bet on lotto, jai-alai or any forms of gambling
  • The students can’t join any contest such as the one you see in tv shows.
  • The baby can only have 6 pairs of godparents. And each godparent will only give P500 on special occasions such as Christmas and birthday as a gift.
  • They become DOST scholars during college. Know the stipends of a DOST scholar.
  1. Aside from the expenses you have to include in the scrapbook some special moments that happen to a baby. You have to research which months this things happened. This may include:
  • The first smile
  • First tooth
  • First time step
  • First word
  • First haircut
  • Etc.
  1. Put pictures. But be sure to be consistent on the baby that you will use.
  2. Each group member will write 3-5 sentences on what they felt during the time that they were doing this scrapbook. Include the reflection at the end of the scrapbook.
  3. All members should help in doing the scrapbook. The group can decide not to include the names of the group members who didn’t help on the project.
  4. Deadline of submission: January 7, 2011, 4:15pm at the PEHM faculty room, gym. I won’t accept late projects.
  5. just text me at 09162721571 kung may questions kayo. pero pls magpakilala. kung di kayo nagpakilala di ako mag-rereply. or just msg me dito sa fb. thanks
